⚖️ Hier au rucher de Luxembourg-Cents, nous avons profité de températures plus douces pour vérifier les poids des ruches. Cela nous permet d’éviter d’ouvrir les ruches et donc de déranger les abeilles. En pesée arrière, nous comparons le poids à la pesée avant l’hiver, et cela nous donne une idée des réserves qui ont été consommées, et de celles qui restent. Verdict tout va bien, les 🐝 sont incroyables et gèrent l’hiver et leurs réserves comme des championnes 💪♥️.
⚖️ Yesterday at the Luxembourg-Cents apiary. We seized the opportunity of milder temperatures to check the weights of the hives. This allows us to avoid opening the hives and therefore disturbing the bees. Using a load-cell, we weigh at the back and then compare the weight with the one from before the winter. This gives us an approximate idea of how much reserves have been consumed, and what remains.
The good news is that all is well, the 🐝 are amazing and handle the winter and their reserves like champions 💪♥ ️.
